Farewell Event At Old Moat

A farewell event held at Old Moat Primary School, to remember all the memories which were held within this fantastic building and surroundings. We had visitors from around the Old Moat area to embrace this event and some spokes people to talk about their memories and what this school building has done for them. The children were able to sing a song which best described the event, goodbye to the old building and hello to the new building.

Year 5 look into “Freedom” and what it means to be free. The I have a dream speach by Martin Luther King Jr has changed the world and year 5 have made a video to show their feeling towards this historical event.

Year 6 have been designing their own holiday homes. We used Google SketchUp to do this. We learnt how to space items out, how a design of a home works, measurements and materials.
